Mini Update!

I'm finally home for spring break! It feels great to be home! And regardless of the crappy weather, I'd much rather endure it while being home than over at school. Anyways, I know I've sort of been neglecting to post on my blog this past week, but I just haven't had anything interesting to blog about. That and I was busy with school. But now that I'm home, I thought I would just do a mini update so you know that I'm still alive! 

It's only been two days since I've been home, and I've already done a fair amount of retail therapy! I went thrifting yesterday and scored some awesome pieces and today I hit up Forever 21 and scored even more awesome pieces (pictured above) ! I'm planning on doing one huge "Spring Break Haul" post once my break is over (it's only one week), so don't worry, I'll be posting better pictures. This is just a sneak peek! I think my only other 'major' purchase that I'm looking to buy this week are black sneaker wedges. I've been wanting a pair since September and I think it's about time I just went ahead and bought some already. I went to Target today to check out the sneaker wedges they have, and the black ones are everything I want them to be. They're super comfy, way more affordable than some of the other ones I've seen around, and heck, they're just that darn amazing and I won't be able to get them out of my head until I own them and they are happily on my feet. 

I've been listening to a few songs that I forgot even existed on my iPod; which are all pretty nostalgic to me now. It's really weird how music can take you back to a certain time of your life and you remember all the minuscule details and faint memories...Anyways, I hope you've all had a fantastic weekend! And if you live in a sunny/warm area, I am slightly jealous of you. Just a bit. Come on Chicago! Enough with this cold, rainy/snowy weather!
